![]() ![]() The woman’s face turns into his grueling smirk, the wrinkles, and folds on her face impossible to count. Nathan moves back as he finishes whispering. Other people at the bar don’t seem to pay notice. Nathan leans into her, but gently moves to her ear. Smiles, grins, and gazes are exchanged faster than words can reinforce them. Their faces closing in, you half expect them to kiss at one point. Nathan played along as she flirted openly. The conversation was hard to listen to, but you could tell the words fell slurred from her lips. She looked gratified by Nathan’s attention and paid the drink half a second of her attention. “Best night ever.” Giving you a wink as he smoothly put the foot of the glass on the bar in front of you, and slid it all the way to the lady. Grabbing a glass, and just poured it in, filling it to the rim of the glass. “ Well… is an understatement.” He said, pouring the mixture. Close to passing out, if it weren’t for their overdue bedtime, it would be the man standing in front of you. They sat, as far as they could, around a table filled with a collection of glasses and bottles. ![]() In one of the luxurious booths sits a group of ladies. In the corner of your eye, you get what he’s talking about. “She won’t stop ordering.” He said while continuing to mix the drink without even as much as looking down. Dull eyes and glaring at Nathan’s handiwork. “It’s the fourteenth tonight.” Nudging his head to the lady leaning on the bar. “Definitely not your first time doing that.” You chuckle as you watch him work lighting fast. And the show you managed to catch a glimpse of as you entered now unfolded before you. “Coming right up.” Clearly faking a smile. “Nice meeting you here.” And gives a nod to a lady ordering something. “Then you haven’t met a proper bartender before.” Reaching out his hand to you. “I haven’t seen anyone put up such a show for a drink. Start slow.” He smiled while pouring the beer. People were looking, and you couldn’t help but watch too - with multiple interests. “-But I don’t think that would be fair to someone with your skill.” You’d seen him work with the bottles as you entered. “I really feel like getting a beer-…” You say, and without finishing your sentence, you watch him smoothly move himself behind the tap, and toss a glass with a spin through the air into his other hand. “You have anything in mind…?” Swinging the towel over his right shoulder. “What can I get ya?” A bartender asked as he moved into view. Taking in the people in and around the bar. The music wasn’t too loud, nor were the occupants of the bar tonight. You let your eyes scan the bar and those that are seated around it. ![]()
